Your
10 day
Volterra
tour starts when you arrive in the eternal city of Rome.
From
there you'll be on your way to
Tuscany
for a few nights in
Florence
before being escorted into the shadowy hills around the tower towns
of
Montepulciano
and
San
Gimignano.
Finally you arrive in the actual ancient town of Volterra where you
stay for a few nights. This is where the Etruscans lived! After exploring
and experiencing the home of the Volturi, you'll stop in historic
Siena on your way back to Rome. You'll then spend some time in
Rome walking among the Bernini fountains and historic squares,
visiting the ancient
Forum and Coliseum, and enjoying a brief stop at the Vatican, on a
unique guided walking tour through the sights, sounds and
archaeological wonders of ancient and historic Rome.
